Dito a partisipá den e selekshon di Vòli di Antia Ulandes den 4 di e Weganan Sentro Amerikano i di Karibe, organisá den añanan 1966-1970-1974 i 1978. Tambe Dito a partisipá den 2 kampeonato di Vòlibòl organisá pa NORSECA pa añanan 1977 i 1981. Na 1971 Dito a keda kontratá pa hunga vòli “semi-profesional” na Puerto Rico den e ekipo di Caguas.

Despues di a regresá for di Puerto Rico, Dito a pasa pa e ekipo Kampeon di Sithoc, pa kual ekipo el a keda hunga te ku e fecha ku leshon a pone un fin na su briante karera di vòli. Dito a hunga vòli na e siguiente paisnan:
Puerto Rico, Panamá, Sürnam, Colombia, Mexico,, Santo Domingo ,U.S.A. i Aruba.

Dito tabata un tremendo hungadó durante hinter su karera ku un karakter i komportashon ehemplar tantu riba komo pafó di tereno di wega. English Version

In the year 1963, at the age of 14, Edgardo (Dito) Ravenstein began his career in the sport of Volleyball with the Nevada team, which later became Wescar. In 1965, at the age of 16, Dito was selected to play for the national Volleyball teams of Curaçao and the Netherlands Antilles, participating as a player in all International Championships and Regional Games until 1981 when he had to retire due to injury.

 Dito participated in the Volleyball selection of the Netherlands Antilles in the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1966, 1970, 1974, and 1978. Additionally, he took part in two Volleyball championships organized by NORCECA in 1977 and 1981. In 1971, Dito was contracted to play “semi-professional” Volleyball in Puerto Rico with the Caguas team.

After returning from Puerto Rico, Dito joined the Sithoc Championship team, where he played until his brilliant volleyball career came to an end due to injury. Dito played volleyball in the following countries: Puerto Rico, Panama, Suriname, Colombia, Mexico, Santo Domingo, the U.S.A., and Aruba.

Throughout his career, Dito was an outstanding player with exemplary character and behavior both on and off the playing field. For several years, he served as a referee and also as the coach of the Wescar women’s volleyball team. In 1965, he received high honors when he was named a HONORARY MEMBER of the Curaçao Volleyball Federation.
