Mr. Henry Prince and his youth practiced the field of athletics, specializing in the Long Jump.

Henry began his career as a Sports Leader in 1948 when he joined the Board of the Antillean Athletics Association. In 1952, Henry Prince was elected to the board of the Antillean Federation for Physical Education (N.A.B.L.O.), which later became the Netherlands Antilles Olympic Committee (N.A.O.C.). Mr. Prince was a Co-founder and President of the Curacao Shooting Association.

In 1981, Mr. Prince assumed the position of President of the Netherlands Antilles Olympic Committee, a position he held until 1993. In 1981, Henry was elected as the treasurer of the Central American and Caribbean Sports Organization (ODECABE), a position he holds to this day.
