Juan Isa, born on August 26, 1913, is considered one of the sports leaders of Curaçao who has reached the highest position in an international sports federation, namely the position of president of the International Baseball Federation. This is undoubtedly considered an honor for any sports leader of a country. Both at the Insular and Antillean levels, Juan has held various important positions in different organizations, making a significant contribution to the development of sports in Curaçao.
- From 1954 to 1970, Juan Isa was the president of FEBEKO.
- From 1954 to 1962, Juan was a member of the N.A.B.L.O. board.
- From 1962 to 1983, Juan Isa was a member of the N.A.O.C. board, of which he was president from 1972 to 1983.
- From 1962 to the present, Mr. Isa has been the president of the Stichting Exploitatie Sporttereinen.
- From 1966 to 1983, Juan was a member of the board of the Koninkrijksport Liga.
- At the Antillean level, Juan Isa was part of the N.A.B.A.F.E. board from 1965 to 1974, of which he served as president in the last four years.
